Role and Responsibilities
Role Title: Crew Leader
Department: Production
Reports to: Regional Manager/Operations Manager
Overall Job Purpose
The Crew Leader is responsible for supervising a team of painters and laborers to ensure the successful completion of projects. This includes maintaining quality standards, adhering to project timelines, and fostering a safe and efficient work environment. The Crew Leader also serves as the on-site representative for Peak Paint and Stain, ensuring client satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly.
Core Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Supervision
● Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to meet project goals and maintain high-quality standards.
● Delegate tasks effectively to maximize team productivity and project efficiency.
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to improve team skills and performance.
Project Management
● Oversee project schedules to ensure deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.
● Monitor progress and address any delays or obstacles to keep projects on track.
● Perform final quality checks before completing and handing over projects to clients.
Client Interaction and Issue Resolution
● Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, addressing questions, concerns, or adjustments.
● Communicate updates to clients and management regarding project progress and any issues encountered.
Safety and Compliance
● Ensure all team members adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
● Conduct regular safety checks and maintain a clean and organized worksite to prevent accidents.
Resource and Equipment Management
● Oversee the use of materials and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and maintained properly.
● Report any equipment malfunctions or material shortages to the Operations Manager.
Required Skills and Experience
Technical Skills
● Proficiency in painting techniques, materials, and application methods.
● Knowledge of job site safety regulations and best practices.
Leadership Experience
● At least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in painting, construction, or a related industry
Soft Skills
● Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
● Problem-solving abilities to address on-site challenges and implement solutions promptly.
● Organizational skills to manage schedules, resources, and team dynamics.

Project Timeliness: Consistently complete projects on or before scheduled deadlines.
